Knitting into the night

Day 10 began with crocheting as I am working on finishing the kaleidoscope shawl in 2 beautiful, fingering weight, purple yarns.

I had planned to work on that (crocheted) shawl this evening, but when I sat down, my kitty jumped onto my lap. I didn’t want to move him, so I grabbed a project bag that was within reach, which happens to also be a project on its final stretch.
The Purl Soho color-tipped scarf is an easy knit and, depending on the yarn you choose, can be a solid staple or an exotic accessory.
It’s a rainy, chilly night here in Pittsburgh - perfect for knitting a long, wooly wrap that is designed for cooler weather.
As I settle in for the evening, I find comfort in the company of my kitty; in the gentle rhythm of my knitting needles working the soft yarn in rich colors.
Life is good.
