Like many knitters and crocheters, I have a number of WIPs (works in progress) and I am easily distracted by a new project even while I’m in the midst of an existing one. I’m still working on the crocheted tote with the t-shirt yarn, but this happy, cotton yarn was too tempting. Maybe it’s the colorway - I don’t know; but in any event, this is what got my time and attention today.
This is made following the initial pattern for a water bottle holder/sling that I jotted down and shared in an earlier blog post. It’s worked in Lily’s Sugar ‘n Cream cotton yarn and is, to my eye, delightful!
Tomorrow is the last day of “Knit and/or Crochet Every Day in May” and while I won’t miss the pressure, I will miss the sense of the larger community of knitters and crocheters as we participate together, near and far, in our fiber art!
I hope everyone has enjoyed this May stitching journey and is ready for the crawls of Summer (they’re already scheduled and coming up soon!).
Enjoy, take care, and give yourself a pat on the back for hanging in there all month: we made it!
